Problem: A large amount of surface rust needs to be removed from steel pieces, especially difficult pieces with hard to reach places.
Solution: Use a sand blaster. Also, use a large tarp behind the sand blaster to catch sand so you can re-use it.

Macromedia Error When Running Rosetta Stone
Problem: When running Rosetta Stone, an error comes up saying "Macromedia Projector has encountered a problem and needs to close"
Solution: Right click the shortcut to Rosetta Stone > Properties > Compatibility Run it in a lower compatibility mode. I saw suggestions online to run it in Windows 95 & to disable visual themes. Running it Windows 95 or 98 mode did not work for me and it worked fine in Windows NT/2000 mode. I did not have to disable visual themes.

Problem: Flash Animation is On Top of Navigation Bar
Problem: Your flash animation has priority over navigation bar menu options. When you hover over a menu item, the drop down list is hidden behind the flash animation. I've encountered this problem in Wordpress and in other CMS applications.
Solution: You need to add the following line:
param name="wmode" value="transparent"
In Dreamweaver, you can click the opject in design mode and add the parameter. Copy the code below for a working example.

Statement of Purpose
This blog has been established for reasons two-fold:
1. To collect and archive solutions to problems I've encountered whether of technical or other nature so as to make these solutions available for easy recollection should I encounter the problem again.
2. To publish these solutions so that others may freely benefit.
Solutions will be published in astonishingly random fashion and will regard problems as I encounter them (or recollect them from past experience). I have no intent of producing a well thought out blog. It is only secondary that it happens, in the first place, to be public.
